Lord, the desire to seek a life of worship, praise, and devotion to you is not something I can produce on my own. The call to work towards the well being and spiritual safety of your beloved church is too much for me to carry at times. I have failed many times. And, many times your grace has been sufficient. Father, discipline me, for what son is there whom his father does not discipline (Heb 12:7). Restore me. Equip me. Holy Spirit, fill me once again. My soul is bowed down within me (Lam 3:20). Sweet Jesus, remind me afresh of your grace. Speak to me as you spoke to Paul. Tell me that your grace is sufficient (2 Cor 12:9), have me boast in my weakness so that your power, not my own, would rest upon me.
